Here is a great Documentary film by eyesteelfim, the National Film Board of Canada, Mark Ellam, and here is where you can check it out in more detail RIPREMIX.  Its always nice to find art and social commentary done well and by fellow Canadians.  I hope you want this documentary on Remixes, CopyRight laws and a little history on them both, its highly informative.  Big ups to everyone involved.

On a final note Congrats to the Brazilian Government for standing up to US copyright laws and doing what is best for there country and the world.

Celebrating the life of the late James Yancey, better known to most as J Dilla, Stussy created a special documentary on the life of the brilliant Hip-Hop producer and MC. Along with the celebrations, Stussy also looks to launch a commemorative tee, produced in conjunction with Stones Throw Records and the Dilla Estate. For the release, Stussy is holding “Dilla Day” events at some of their North American stores, with further details available at Stussy.com.
