This summer New Balance  587’s, 996’s, and 998’s are all coming correct.  New Balance straight up perfected these simple colorways for summer 2010.  The 996 and 587’s are $109.00 each and the 998’s are $120, very limited runs are available today at the David Z. store in soho.

I must say what a clean pair of kicks these are.. I am always a fan of some retro miami vice style teal blue(tiffany) and white combo, but its the small details that i am really feeling on these.. The tiffany bubbles and small splashes of grey.. Nice work.

New Balance works up a special limited edition makeup of its 1700 model for Japanese brand Urban Research iD. The kicks feature a simple colorup, boasting black suede uppers with white and tiffany-colored accents. An official launch is set for early May 2010 via Urban Research iD.

Here are some New Balance that would fit the weather we are having right now in Shanghai.. Damn its been cold and wet one day then hot and sunny the next.. These Gore-Texx babies will have you dry and happy all Spring not matter where you are.. Not to mention the colors are perfect for spring and all of its dirt and grim left over from winter..  To bad they are released in July 2010…

New Balance took last year’s very bland Gore-Tex collab and injected some vibrant new life, using the flight-jacket/military inspiration route and releasing a Gore-Tex collab MTG580. They are arguably the nicest NB’s since Jeff Staple’s Pigeons although, the flight-jacket inspiration is nothing new in the game. That being said, the interchangeable Velcro “N” logos are fun, and the overall construction using highly durable rough Gore-Tex fabric is something more brands should offer. So if you missed out on the last 3 rounds of Undefeated’s Poorman Weapons, here’s your shot. Available July 2010.

Some more previews into the MTG580 summer collection surfaces with a B-3 jacket inspired design from New Balance. Unlike the clean materials of the previously seen MTG580 MA-1, the following B-3 sneaker featuers a distressed leather upper with a more subdued aesthetic. The MTG580 also features a subtle nod to wool liners as seen on the inside of the tongue. The release is set for July 2010 at the earliest.

I am a huge Nike SB fan after skating for years a young one and then getting more and more into my sneaker fetish.  Ohh how I miss my Tiffanies.. Anyways here is what Hypebeast has to say on these new joints.  I am feeling the Red ones for sure.
